Fitness swimming course (spring 2026)
The aim of the course is to develop students' physical fitness using all swimming techniques and swimming training methods. In this course the student will learn to alternate between different swimming strokes, Learn to control the intensity of the workload by controlling the heart rate. The student will understand how swimmers use wall stopwatches. By completing the course, the student will gain competencies that will enable him/her to work with a group of athletes in the pool, being able to prepare a simple model swim workout to develop the movement skills he/she prefers in his/her sport.
Earning 3 credits. This course is preparation for all swimming courses.
The course is open to the general public and students from other schools.
