The mutual rights and obligations of the Customer and the Provider are governed by these Terms and Conditions - Seminars and Courses (Terms and Conditions - Seminars and Courses) and the GTC (General Terms and Conditions).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - SEMINARS AND COURSES
ORDERS, APPLICATIONS, REGISTRATION
Applications for participation in an educational course/seminar (hereinafter also referred to as "event") are accepted only in written (including electronic) form:

All submitted registrations are binding orders.
By submitting an application and purchasing an event, you agree to these OP - Seminars and Courses and the GTC.
Registrations will be recorded in the order in which they are received until the seminar is full.
When ordering and purchasing an event through the e-shop, you will receive a "Recap of your order" by email. If you do not receive this "recap" within 15 minutes of ordering and purchasing, your purchase has not been properly made. The invitation serves as confirmation of registration for the selected event. The invitation will be sent to you by email, usually within 2 working days of ordering and purchasing. If you do not receive it, please check if your registration has been properly processed.
CANCELLATION POLICY - SEMINARS AND COURSES
All changes to orders and cancellations, if any, will only be accepted in writing (by email).
We accept free cancellations (excluding the 500 CZK cancellation fee) up to 14 working days before the seminar. In the case of cancellation 14 to 7 working days before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total amount, with a minimum of CZK 500. Other cancellation fees are governed by GIFT OPERATION No. 1/2024, available at:

If the participant fails to attend the booked event without a written excuse, he/she is obliged to pay the full price according to the invoice. In this case, the course fee paid will not be refunded, no rescheduling is possible and the participant is not entitled to any other compensation.
Invoicing and payment method - COURSES AND SEMINARS
Each participant is required to make proper payment prior to the start of the event. Without proof of payment, the participant may not be admitted to the event.
Methods of payment are possible:
1. online payment gateway at https://www.ftvs-vzdelavani.cz/nabidka-kurzu/. Please make payment immediately after the call for payment as the system is not a booking system.

1. the basis for payment is the invoice, which will be delivered to you by e-mail, as a rule, within 2 working days after the order has been placed. Please make your payment according to the instructions on the e-shop, indicating the assigned variable symbol, otherwise your payment cannot be identified. The invoice is due within 14 days. We send the tax document - invoice to Customers by e-mail as standard.
The prices in the e-shop are quoted without and with VAT applicable according to the current legislation (Value Added Tax Act) and are final. In the case of individual contractual price conditions (e.g. loyalty or individual discounts), the final price will only be communicated to the Customer on the invoice.
Certificates, accredited courses
For selected courses we offer the possibility to obtain a certificate - a certificate of completion of the FTVS UK course.
VAT on courses is governed by the terms of the Value Added Tax Act as amended.
OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Participant registration starts 30 minutes before the seminar starts. The ending time is given as an indication, depending on the number of questions at the end and during the lecture.
FTVS UK reserves the right to make changes to events (change of lecturer, date and venue, etc.) and also reserves the right to cancel an event or part of an event for organisational and operational reasons, including not accepting an order for an event that is fully booked. In this case, the interested party will be offered an alternative date. In the event of force majeure consisting in the closure of the establishment or its inaccessibility (pandemic, etc.), attendance events will be provided online where possible. We will make any changes known to you in a timely manner by email or phone. Please include your email and phone contact information on the registration form. If FTVS UK cancels an event and the participant has already paid, a full refund will be given to the participant. FTVS UK may cancel an event due to the event reaching capacity. Priority will be given to participants who have registered earlier and have paid. The date of payment is the date the amount is credited to the FTVS UK account.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
The participant of the course (the Customer) is obliged to follow the instructions set by FTVS UK, to follow the relevant decrees of the Dean of FTVS UK for courses, the instructions of the course leader/instructor and other relevant regulations.
Each participant must assess for himself/herself whether he/she is medically and physically fit to participate in the course. Information about any restrictions that may apply to some of the courses offered (e.g. age, medical and physical fitness, requirement for a medical examination) is provided in the information description that is an integral part of each course offered.
It is the responsibility of each participant to provide, at his/her own expense, all documents necessary to complete the course.
The participant must be accompanied and supervised by an adult if he/she is under 15 years of age or if his/her health requires it. In the case of participation of a person under 18 years of age (unaccompanied), the participant is obliged to secure the consent of the legal representative to participate in the course.
Participants are obliged to abide by the rules and conditions of the course throughout the course.

When purchasing a course via the e-shop, you will receive a "Recap of your order" by e-mail. If you do not receive this "recap" within 15 minutes after ordering, the purchase has not been properly made. Based on your order and purchase of the course, we will email you an invoice for payment within 2 business days.
Payment terms for distance learning
Payment must be received in our account no later than 14 calendar days before the course takes place so that we can verify the payment received. Once we have verified that payment has reached our account, we will email you login details and instructions with a link on how to register for the online course. In case of any problems, technical support will be available by phone on the day. We will send you the contact details of the technical support staff in the organizational instructions.
If you are ordering and purchasing a separate recording of an online course, we will send you an invoice for payment based on your order within 2 working days of ordering. Once payment has been credited to our account, we will email you login details and instructions with a link on how to start/download the recording within 2 working days. You will receive the background materials for the webinars at least one day before the online course. The recording is always ready for distribution no earlier than the 7th business day after the online course. Recording access details are sent within 48 hours of receipt of payment from the Customer.
LICENCE CONDITIONS AND BREACHES
By purchasing a webinar, recording, live training broadcast or video course, the Customer obtains a license and thus the right to use this content by the person who is listed as a participant in the order. In the event of a breach of the FTVS UK Terms and Conditions, the FTVS Founder (FTVS UK) reserves the right to withdraw the licence immediately.
A subscriber commits a breach of the terms and conditions when he/she shares the purchased content with a third party who is not listed as a subscriber in the order. Sharing and violation of the FTVS UK Terms and Conditions includes: playing the content, sharing the underlying materials, sharing access data to the content, recording and subsequent distribution of the purchased content in any mechanical or electronic form to third parties. For use of the content by more than one participant, an appropriate number of licenses must be purchased. The customer is considered a subscriber if no subscriber is specified. By violating the Terms and Conditions of FTVS UK, the customer loses the license without any compensation. The terms of the Copyright Act apply to the purchased product.

In this case, the course fee paid will not be refunded, no rescheduling is possible and the participant is not entitled to any other compensation. However, we accept a substitute.

ADVERTISING REGULATIONS
General provisions
Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, ID No.: 00216208, with registered office at José Martího 269/31, 162 52 - Prague 6 - Veleslavín, Czech Republic issues this Complaints Procedure (see Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended).
Scope and conditions of the complaint - seminars and courses
The customer has the right to submit a complaint or grievance to FTVS UK about an educational event provided, on the grounds of:
- The lecturer's teaching method
- The methodological content of the event
- Organisation of the event
The customer always submits the complaint in writing immediately after the subject of the complaint has been identified, to Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, ID No.: 00216208, with registered office at José Martího 269/31, 162 52 - Praha 6 - Veleslavín or by e-mail: vnejsivztahy@ftvs.cuni.cz
The written complaint must include:
- Contact details (registration number, company name, registered office address, or correspondence address)
- Name and surname of the party or person who handles the complaint on behalf of the customer, including telephone and e-mail contact
- Identification of the event - date, name and, if applicable, invoice number of the event
- Description - the reason for the claim/complaint
If the letter sent by the customer to the supplier does not contain the above information necessary for the proper filing of the claim/complaint, the letter will not be accepted for further proceedings.
Method and time limits for handling the complaint
FTVS UK is obliged to settle the complaint within 30 days from the date of receipt of the complaint from the customer, unless FTVS UK and the customer have agreed on a longer period. The date of receipt means the date on which the complaint is received by FTVS UK.
The method of dealing with a claim/complaint due to:
The lecturer's teaching method, the methodological content of the course or the organisation of the course:
- The FTVS UK staff member registers the complaint and informs the person responsible for handling the complaint.
- The responsible person will examine the subject - the reason for the complaint in the course (e.g. by comparing evaluation questionnaires of other participants of the event, consultation with the lecturer, etc.) and if he/she considers the complaint relevant, he/she will ensure adequate remedy, e.g. replacement of the course by participation in another term, refund of part or all of the participation fee, or other means as agreed with the customer.

FTVS UK is obliged to settle the complaint within 30 days from the date of its receipt from the customer, unless the supplier and the customer have agreed on a longer period. The date of receipt is the date on which the complaint is received by FTVS UK.
Method of handling the complaint
Depending on the type of defects and under the conditions stipulated by generally binding legal regulations, in particular Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended, and Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended, the buyer has the option in the event of a complaint to demand, in particular, that the defective goods be repaired or replaced with new goods, or may withdraw from the purchase contract and demand a refund of the purchase price.

OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
FTVS UK reserves the right to change (change of lecturer, date, etc.) and also reserves the right to cancel the event or part of it for organizational and operational reasons. We will let you know of any changes in good time by email or phone. We therefore ask you to include your email and telephone contact details on your order.
Furthermore, FTVS UK reserves the right to choose its own cloud platform for playback and redistribution of the broadcast or distance learning recordings. The Provider shall not be liable for any interruption of the live broadcast of distance learning due to an internet connection failure or any failure on the part of the Customer.
The Customer is obliged to ensure that his/her device is set up accordingly before connecting to the distance learning. This means ensuring the correct functioning of the audio (microphone and speaker), camera, e-mail (for receiving invitations to the training), Internet browser (we recommend Google Chrome or Mozila Firefox) and, in particular, ensuring a functional Internet connection with a constant data flow of at least 3 Mbps (3 Mbps for downloading and 3 Mbps for uploading). If the Customer is unable to participate in the distance learning course for his/her own reasons, he/she shall immediately contact the technical support staff of FTVS UK. On the day of the purchased training, the Customer is obliged to solve his/her first connection to the distance learning at least 15 minutes before the start of the training.
The Customer must follow all the recommendations provided by the technical support staff, otherwise FTVS UK is not responsible for failures in the Customer's connection to distance learning.
These OP - seminars and courses are valid and effective from 14 May 2024.
